It is human to need some help at times to figure something out as life brings challenges It can be valuable to turn to a partner or trusted friend in those times and feel better afterwards. However, some issues require a more professional help, with more objectivity and confidentiality.  You could have a current problem demanding more reflection, a dilemma you need to fully understand, or an issue you know needs more attention because of its complexity or the length time you have carried it.  I am here to support you when you need that extra help.  I help you understand yourself better and guide you to a better balanced life with a new way of thinking.  Talking to someone qualified can offer clarity in the chaos. Putting into words your thoughts, feelings and emotions without being judged  can feel liberating. I see my role of therapist as one of guidance and assistance to respond to challenges in a workable way  for a  meaningful life.  Express your frustrations, Let go of resentment, Release emotions, Uncover hidden pains holding you back! The sessions are broken with practices, tools and techniques you will be able to use long after therapy.

Emotional Support

Diagnostic Journey

Pacing

Adjustment & Acceptance

You may be living with a metabolic condition, chronic illness, or ongoing health concerns such as fatigue, post-viral symptoms, or conditions like ME/CFS, POTS or MCAS.

You may already have an understanding of what is recommended medically, yet find it difficult to apply in daily life. For many people, the challenge is not a lack of knowledge, but the emotional impact of living with a condition that affects your energy, your body, your sense of self but also your relationships.

You may be on a diagnostic journey, searching for answers or trying to make sense of changes in your health. This can bring feelings of frustration, anxiety, grief, or a sense of being unheard or misunderstood  by all including medical professionals.

My role is not to provide medical advice, but to offer a space where your experience is listened to and taken seriously. Together, we work on understanding and regulating the emotional impact of your condition, supporting you to navigate uncertainty, and adjusting to changes in a way that feels sustainable.

This may include exploring pacing, recognising your limits, and working through the thoughts, emotions, and identity changes that can come with long-term health challenges.

I use a holistic and trauma-informed approach, looking at the whole of you — your beliefs, emotions, self-esteem, relationships, and the way your body responds to stress, rest, and daily demands. The focus is not on pushing through, but on supporting you to live in a way that respects your current capacity.

You are free to choose your own diet , lifestyle and work management , we can discuss them together. I am not a weight loss coach, doctor, or dietitian. I focus on the connection between mind and body, supporting the psychological and emotional aspects of living with health conditions.

Sessions are mainly online or face-to-face at YourHealthyBody Clinic (Radius Medical Centre, Albany Creek) on Wednesdays.  Online is particularly adapted to you if you suffer from ME/CFS,  I encourage you to be in bed during our session to limit the demand on your body.  After the first session we agree on the right session time for you and i adjust my fee accordingly.
